Our main objective is to meet our riders’ expectations. For this reason we adapt ourselves –as far as practical- to our clients’ suggestions, without distorting the main objective of outings: adventure and harmonious enjoyment of nature.
We organize rides in groups from 4 to 100 people.
The distances to be covered, as well as the landscapes and accommodation, will fit your likes. You may choose accommodation in country hotels and/or campsites that reflect the identity of the Uruguayan countryside.
You may join in with your own horse or choose from among our herd the one you like the best.
Your baggage and the food will be carried by our logistics team, who will be waiting for us at each campsite or lodging place, with all the services needed so that you can enjoy the landscapes.
Along with our guides and assistants, we will be at your disposal long before departure, and will stay by your side during the ride. We will monitor the advance of the activities, always ready to ensure the adventure’s success.
Day HorseRides
Day rides enable riders to enjoy a different kind of adventure.
You may pick your horse from our herd of 25 Stallions.
The environment of the hills, the creeks and the ravines conveys a sense of peace and tranquility. The close contact with a docile horse and with nature allows riders to experience the utmost freedom of riding on horseback for a number of hours and return to the city bustle fully renewed and released from all stress. The personalized service and the assistance of bilingual guides provide riders maximum security and confidence to enjoy horseback riding among peers.
The sorrounding environment acts as the setting for a traditional grilled meat accompanied with green salads and baked potatoes. The snacks include typical local treats, along with warm coffee or tea, or refreshing fruit juice.
Our Campsites
Horse rides with tents allow riders to experience the freedom of gauchos who roamed this land long ago. As part of the journey, riders can be part of bonfires and guitar serenades, sharing a safe environment in harmony with the local people. The experience resembles a trip into the past to get acquainted with the most genuine traditions from the River Plate, forged on horseback and perfectly amalgamated with the tranquil surroundings through which your will be riding.
They are modest camping sites that offer basic facilities, where you will find specific eating, resting and bathroom areas. The sound of bells calls riders to lunch, served on tables set on shaded areas close to the bonfire to make every meal an enjoyable experience. Check the menu to see the traditional platters,
always available with warm coffee.
These areas offer the possibility of baths in the crystal waters of creek pools and waterfalls. You will have the options of exploring the site on foot, or taking a well-deserved siesta in the refreshing shade of the hillside, lying on the sand, or in the meadow. The camping at sites sheltered by woodlands along hills and creeks will be a memorable aspect of your adventure. You can dare to sleep on your own tack, lying on the sheepskin and turning the saddle into a pillow. If you prefer to stick to modern habits, our serviceable staff will kindly provide you with camp beds (pillow and blanket included) or sleeping bags.
Lodging
Horse rides with lodging are meant for riders to enjoy a most comfortable rest. Lodging is provided at the country’s typical ranches (“estancias”) turned into small, fully-equipped countryside hotels. Lodging is available for up to 12 people per ride, in double occupancy rooms. This hotel-like accommodation includes dinners served alongside real gaucho bonfires.
